Rooks Nest is close to the Staffordshire County Showground which hosts many large events throughout the year. We are also within walking distance from three pubs including the Historical Holly Bush Inn at Salt, one of Britain's oldest pubs and a multi award winner for its outstanding food. Just a few hundred yards away from us is Weston Hall a fine example of Elizabethan Gothic architecture and a popular wedding venue and restaurant. In the other direction we are only a few minutes drive from the magnificent Sandon Hall another popular wedding venue set in its own parkland and home of the Sandon Point To Point Races. Amerton working farm and craft centre, Shugborough and Cannock Chase are also nearby.
We are less than 20 miles from one of Staffordshire's (and Europe's!) favourite attractions, Alton Towers and next to the main A518 road that joins Stafford to Uttoxeter and then on to the park.
